Tom Brady expands his empire by announcing a new line of golf

Great-all-time NFL quarterback Tom Brady continues to strive to extend his talents into the business with the launch of a new line of golf apparel.

Brady, 44, calls the next-gen golf collection a “natural extension of my life beyond the football field.”

“The golf collection featuring BRADY™ is one of which I am very proud and is a natural extension of my life beyond the football field,” Brady said in a statement. ‘Each piece is designed and developed with the golfer’s needs in mind.’

The quarterback, who recently shocked the world with his reversal of his retirement to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers again in 2022, is working with University of Texas golfer Cole Hammer and Wake Forest’s Michael Brennan.

“We have partnered with Cole and Michael, both exceptional athletes, to represent this collection and further demonstrate our commitment to supporting the next generation of youth athletes who embody the spirit and ethos on which our brand was founded. ”

Brady, a frequent attendee at celebrity golf events, sells the collection exclusively on his BradyBrand website at prices ranging from $75 to $195.

It’s just another addition to the growing business empire for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

On January 12, his clothing line Brady Brand, BRADY for short, went online.

The ventures could help bring his $200 million net worth closer to that of his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, who is worth $400 million according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.

Continuing his legendary status as one of the greatest soccer players of all time, Brady co-founded TB12 Sports with longtime body coach Alex Guerrero in 2013, according to an interview with Guerrero on ONE37pm.

“TB12 is truly a holistic approach to optimizing pain management, performance and recovery with a focus on nutrition, hydration and exercise – and it can be applied to anyone,” Guerrero said.

According to Bloomberg, the quarterback co-founded NFT trading platform Autograph earlier last year.

Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are authentic digital media—photos, GIFs, etc.—that can be bought and sold.

Autograph’s website describes the company as “an NFT platform that brings together the most iconic brands and iconic names across sports, entertainment and culture to create one-of-a-kind digital collections and experiences.”

In July, the company announced a partnership with Lionsgate and DraftKings, a digital sports entertainment company, along with “multi-year exclusive NFT deals with an all-star roster of legendary athletes including Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, Naomi Osaka and Tony Hawk.’

And earlier this year, Brady launched its clothing line, Brady Brand, or BRADY.

The clothing line’s website currently has $150 jackets and $75 gym shorts.

The first run of the line included $295 bomber jackets, a $250 vest, $95 hoodies and $120 polo shirts, according to Sports Illustrated.

A number of popular collegiate athletes have signed on to represent the burgeoning brand after changes in NCAA rules allowed student-athletes to benefit from the endorsements.

Among those who have signed are Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara and Georgia wide receiver George Pickens, reports Fox Business.

Others include Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders and College tennis player Patrick Zahraj of UCLA and Andrew Fenty of the University of Michigan.
